Adaptability and Flexibility Without Breaking

I promised myself adaptability and flexibility toward working a job, but knowing my break point is paramount. It's better to break my promise than break myself. The interview was very different. Both doctors are friendly and interesting. Many of my qualifications fit the job description and it sounds like something I would enjoy. They hadn’t... Continue Reading →

Technique To Release Pressure

Pressure Release Technique I resist using things that are associated with FEFT and that leads me to explore another technique that works. I often use the karate chop point that they mostly stopped because people associate it with the EFT setup process, “Even though I have this…” It works well for self-acceptance and forgiveness. That is... Continue Reading →

Change Wallow to WE

I took action to get enough information to feel better about a change in direction. Fortunately my real estate advisor is a good friend with a vital professional and financial angle. Complete honesty is easy without feeling embarrassed. She could hear in my voice I don’t sound like myself and I admitted I have been in... Continue Reading →

It Changes You — Dirty Kanza 200

I get some of the sweatiest, grimy handshakes of my lifetime, and it doesn't even bother me. It feels wonderful to be a part of something monumental in these riders’ lives. I get to hear comments to the Race Directors as riders finish and many say, “Thank you, this is the best course I’ve ever done.” One rider says, “This is the greatest achievement of my life!” I say, “Congratulations! Good work!” Time after time the riders thank me for my hard work, for being there, for being a Gravel Groupie. I mirror it back, “Thank you for your hard work. Without you we wouldn’t be here. You’re welcome.” I know they aren’t thanking me personally, because all I did was show up the day before the race. They are thanking the Race Directors, all the support staff, the entire community of Emporia, the surrounding communities that participate and all the ranchers whose front and back yards they travelled. Our contact creates a bond of sweaty gray-dirt gratitude and inspiration. So as a last minute volunteer, I am honored to receive a multitude of gratitude. It changes you.

Notice The Subtle Reaction

My zone is more relaxed and in the flow of allowing. I gave myself permission to run errands yesterday morning. Robert is going longer without breaks. By the time I got there it was almost noon when he took the first break, then went another hour before lunch break. I went to evening class after a nice... Continue Reading →

Back Home In OKC

As soon as I pulled up in front of Deanna’s house my car started vibrating. It got me to Jason’s Deli, but it has been hesitating more frequently. The vibration gives me hope that if I take it to my mechanic here they will figure out the problem that my Emporia mechanics haven’t found yet.... Continue Reading →

Basking In Bliss

After waking up from a dream where I was flying, I basked in the peaceful bliss in bed and remembered this is the same way I felt when I went to sleep. Pam’s session was exactly what we both needed. The end was a wonderful blissful positive state that we recorded so we can both... Continue Reading →

Conditioned Responses

I was in a funk again. I worked on the book for an hour and tried something different. Instead of reading old journals, I proofread the first part, but ignored the places that need inserts. I noticed and tapped on small triggers of remembering unwanted feelings of the past. I had unknowingly put pressure on... Continue Reading →
